Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HACD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HACD2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher HACD2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HACD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and STAD are the cancer types where HACD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
