Across TCGA patient cohorts, H4C3 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 100 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible H4C3-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1127P, TRAJ53, and RPL17P19. Each is linked with H4C3 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both H4C3-to-partner and partner-to-H4C3 results are reported.
