Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H3-5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H3-5 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher H3-5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H3-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

ESCA, BLCA, and STAD are the cancer types where H3-5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
