Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H3-3A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H3-3A data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher H3-3A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H3-3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LAML show a favorable association.

ACC, KICH, and COAD are the cancer types where H3-3A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
