Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2BW1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H2BW1 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher H2BW1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H2BW1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and SKCM are the cancer types where H2BW1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
