Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2BS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H2BS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher H2BS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H2BS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and OV show a favorable association.

CHOL, CESC, and BLCA are the cancer types where H2BS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
