Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2BC18 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H2BC18 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher H2BC18 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H2BC18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and LIHC show a favorable association.

COAD, KIRP, and UVM are the cancer types where H2BC18 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
