Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2AZP6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of H2AZP6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where H2AZP6 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types H2AZP6 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, KICH, and ESCA are the cancer types where H2AZP6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
