Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2AZ2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H2AZ2 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher H2AZ2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H2AZ2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LAML show a favorable association.

MESO, ACC, and UVM are the cancer types where H2AZ2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
