Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2AX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H2AX data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher H2AX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H2AX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD are the cancer types where H2AX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
