Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H1-6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H1-6 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher H1-6 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H1-6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

KICH, MESO, and PRAD are the cancer types where H1-6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
