Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H1-5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H1-5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher H1-5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H1-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, STAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where H1-5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
