Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H1-10 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H1-10 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher H1-10 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H1-10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and SCLC show a favorable association.
UVM, ACC, and KICH are the cancer types where H1-10 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
