Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GYG1P1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GYG1P1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher GYG1P1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GYG1P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PRAD and COAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, STAD, and MESO are the cancer types where GYG1P1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
