Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GUCA1C RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GUCA1C data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher GUCA1C RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GUCA1C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and STAD show a favorable association.
BLCA, READ, and LUAD are the cancer types where GUCA1C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
