Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GUCA1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GUCA1A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher GUCA1A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GUCA1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where GUCA1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
