Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTPBP8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTPBP8 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher GTPBP8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTPBP8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, SKCM, and SARC are the cancer types where GTPBP8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
