Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTPBP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTPBP2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher GTPBP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTPBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
SKCM, COAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where GTPBP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
