Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF2I Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTF2I data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher GTF2I Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF2I expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, LGG, and SKCM are the cancer types where GTF2I Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
