Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF2H2B RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GTF2H2B data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher GTF2H2B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF2H2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and DLBC show a favorable association.
KICH, HNSC, and THCA are the cancer types where GTF2H2B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
