Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF2H2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTF2H2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GTF2H2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF2H2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
HNSC and LSCC are the cancer types where GTF2H2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
