Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF2E2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTF2E2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher GTF2E2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF2E2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUSC, KICH, and SKCM are the cancer types where GTF2E2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
