Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF2E1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTF2E1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher GTF2E1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF2E1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where GTF2E1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
