Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF2A1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTF2A1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher GTF2A1 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF2A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and COAD show a favorable association.

PDAC, COAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where GTF2A1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
