Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GSTT4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GSTT4 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher GSTT4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GSTT4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC are the cancer types where GSTT4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
