Across TCGA patient cohorts, GSTM5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 32 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GSTM5-associated genes across cancer lineages are JNK2, mTOR_pS2448, and ASNS. Each is linked with GSTM5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GSTM5-to-partner and partner-to-GSTM5 results are reported.
