Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GSTM3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GSTM3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher GSTM3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GSTM3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD are the cancer types where GSTM3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
