Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GSTA10P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of GSTA10P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where GSTA10P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types GSTA10P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PRAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BLCA, PRAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where GSTA10P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
