Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GSAP RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GSAP data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GSAP RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GSAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BRCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, BRCA, and MESO are the cancer types where GSAP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
