Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GRP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GRP data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher GRP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GRP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and SARC are the cancer types where GRP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
