Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GRINA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GRINA data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher GRINA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GRINA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, ESCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where GRINA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
