Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GREM2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GREM2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher GREM2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GREM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
LUSC, LGG, and LUAD are the cancer types where GREM2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
