Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GPX4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GPX4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher GPX4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GPX4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, SCLC, and SARC are the cancer types where GPX4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
