Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GPRC5D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GPRC5D data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher GPRC5D Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GPRC5D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and LUAD are the cancer types where GPRC5D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
