Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GPR89A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GPR89A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher GPR89A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GPR89A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD and UCEC are the cancer types where GPR89A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
