Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GPD2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GPD2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher GPD2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GPD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where GPD2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
