Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLIM4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GOLIM4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher GOLIM4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOLIM4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where GOLIM4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
