Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLGA8EP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GOLGA8EP data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher GOLGA8EP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOLGA8EP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA are the cancer types where GOLGA8EP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
