Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLGA6L22 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GOLGA6L22 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher GOLGA6L22 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOLGA6L22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and ACC show a favorable association.
KIRC, UVM, and STAD are the cancer types where GOLGA6L22 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
