Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLGA2P10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of GOLGA2P10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where GOLGA2P10 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types GOLGA2P10 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, KIRP, and THCA are the cancer types where GOLGA2P10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
