Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GNL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GNL3 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher GNL3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GNL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CHOL, UCEC, and PCPG are the cancer types where GNL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
