Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GNG5P2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GNG5P2 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher GNG5P2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GNG5P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.
LUAD, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where GNG5P2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
