Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GNG5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GNG5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher GNG5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GNG5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, COAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where GNG5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
