Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GNB1L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GNB1L data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher GNB1L mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GNB1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.
CCRCC, HNSC, and GBM are the cancer types where GNB1L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
