Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GMPR2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GMPR2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GMPR2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GMPR2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where GMPR2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
