Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GMIP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GMIP data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher GMIP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GMIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where GMIP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
