Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLYATL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GLYATL3 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher GLYATL3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLYATL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where GLYATL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
