Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLUL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GLUL data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher GLUL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLUL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LIHC, and LUSC are the cancer types where GLUL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
