Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLT6D1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GLT6D1 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher GLT6D1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLT6D1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.

SCLC, ESCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where GLT6D1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
