Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLOD5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GLOD5 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher GLOD5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLOD5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA are the cancer types where GLOD5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
